March book Review 2018: When we meet again

When we meet again

Before I started this novel, I didn’t know a thing about the author Kristin Harmel nor the story-line of this novel. I solely chose this novel based on the cover, I felt this strange attachment to it before the first page. I am not one to pick a book based on the cover, I am picky about my book but this novel was worth every penny. From beginning to the end, the novel had a great flow to it. I enjoyed how the author went back into time in a smooth way; it wasn’t chopped, I felt that she couldn’t miss anything that would leave the reader lost or to have questions about possible missing information. Every character was important to the story and their story individually was key as well. I appreciated that world war two also played a role throughout the novel for the past to the future. The moment in history she chose to pause on and reflect upon was about the civil rights which is beautiful moment to add for the main characters story individually that comes into play towards the end. When you think, you have figured out how the story and where it will go next, it ends up with a different twist that you didn't expect to happen.  The theme was about Family and choices you make in life from the past plays roles in your Future later.
I took away multiple things from this novel that I never thought, I would be left thinking about as I closed the book. Thoughts of family; family I wished I had better connection with. I thought about my grandparent’s, if they never existed then never of us would have existed either. Also, the power of forgiveness is stronger then we really know in life and in death. I think the life we are living there is a purpose for us individually either we are aware of it or not there is reason.
And I think about love its self and we do have that one person, we are meant to be with or know them. We can have that one and only person and not another could fill that spot when you lose them to. And if you lose them in your life, somehow life pulls the two together and at the times you never expected to see them. Be prepared to have your heart pulled and the tissues handy while reading. You will be left in tears even after you finish the novel and days after thinking about the characters story. And left thinking about those in your life and about others that aren't in your life to.

Please let me know what you think in the comment section below, can't wait to hear from you!

P.s In my current reality, after reading this book opened a window in my life that I closed off relating to my family. I think life was pushing this book towards me to give me a little warning to my own life and whats in store.

Lion ,Tigers and what more do you need

The Cat House- Non-Profit Organization EFBC’s Feline Conservation Center
Link Below to their website, Go visit!

I have always driven by this zoo over the years through my travels to the Big city. I all I ever heard about the zoo were amazing good things. Finally, in February of this year I went and spent a few too many beautiful hours just learning while staring at such beauty. I learned so many things while I was there that made learning as adult wonderful and yet at the sometime feel like a child all over again. The Exotic Feline Breeding Compound was founded in July 1977 by Joseph and Jeanne Maynard. At the center they have over seventy felines throughout the compound and twenty-two different species. There are Leopards, Tiger, Jaguars and so much more. I enjoyed each story about each feline, trust me you want to know each story. My favorite three felines and their stories were Caesar, Gregori and Cisco. When you go there ask about their story, you will not be disappointed. When you leave there, you are left there wanting to own a zoo or be a volunteer there. Or if you are like me, I was left there wanting a feline of my own and volunteer there to! Please go visit the center and tell me your thoughts. I have more lovely images of these beautiful creatures in gallery page on here, which I will link below.
