June Book review: The Bookman’s tale – A Novel of Obsession

A Novel of Obsession You Need to Read!

The Bookman's Tale

One of the best Fiction Novels of I have read in along Time! It has it all: a love story, Suspensive and mystery, you will definitely be Obsessed with. I couldn’t stop reading but if I didn’t take a break from the book it would end sooner then I wanted. I loved every second, every written word to the next page. Obsessed with the beloved Amanda’s, peter Byerly’s passion for books and the history that goes along with each book. Obsessed with the aspect of Shakespeare’s original ideas came from. Finding the, “Holy Grail’’ in the bibliomania world. Obsessed with the olden days where books became the main entertainment and going to plays and to the opera was the only other entertainment I can’t believe I never discovered Charlie Lovett before! Seriously once I started, I was hooked. Obsessed with the love story, true love exists in any century –  I learned about book making by hand in a way I didn’t know about. Hidden work and missing work is either lost or destroyed. we have whole universe should find the leads to missing work. Trails of clues lead to amazing discoveries like the Pandosto. I loved the easy flow between 1994 to 1983 and way back to 1612. Three different times of life flowed too well as if I had three stories instead of one; Perfect! Alderson’s and the Gardner’s seem to be the real Montague’s and Capulet’s; fighting over written work, love and blackmail; a lasting fight even in death passing through generations. I am in need of another Peter Byerly’s novel soon.

April Book Review : The Bear and the Nightingale

For a Debut novel Katherine Arden seems she’s been writing novels her whole life.  She makes her world appear around you as if you are dropped into the world. A fairy-tale Russian folklore written in a way that I can’t put my finger on what makes her novel Dynamic other than her magical touch. This novel should be a stable on every teens book shelf. Within a few chapter’s in she had me hooked into her world; I might be having withdrawals until I get my hands on her next novel. She brought a new edge to storytelling, to the table by making the past seem current. Each Character brought in was beautifully tailored to the story-line. Vasya is a strong warrior and stands her ground against anyone. From Anne her crazy stepmother to her strong father. Each one of her siblings are a lining to Vasya strength. Morozo is a key character to the story and I didn’t expect to have a attachment to. I love the fact that religion was brought into the mix as well as magic; it gave the story more depth. Folklore should be written like this for every story to be remembered. Household spirits should exist and be honored like the olden days before our time.At the end of this novel; you will understand who is The bear and the Nightingale. And be left with wanting more from them, quickly.
Her next novel is called The Girl in the Tower.

April Feels> Lost in my head

It seems like, I have been spending my days in meetings or working and staring at screen for hours. I feel like I have nothing to say and at the same time I feel like I more to say at the same time. I spent my last few days lost in my own head to a point that I could be invisible to the world around me. Nothing could hold my full attention long enough to complete anything or even share any work.  I would start writing or editing then I stop because it’s not satisfied my heart or my brain at the moment. I had to walk away from it, I had stop picking up a pen and holding a camera. When I stopped completely, I found out my own head is full of ideas, there things I want to do that might crash and burn but at least I tried them at least once.

Then I went through my writing Notebook and noticed I few too many unfinished pieces that I wanted to complete. Then I went through my new layouts of my blog a noticed I never picked out the one that worked. After that I read through little pages of my unfinished book, All I could think, is," I want this to work out". I promised myself at the beginning of this year; that I would put myself hundred percent first in the sense of work. But If I am being honest I am not doing that and I never have because I care about working and helping my family before myself, always.
In this moment  all I want to do is prove to myself that I am worth , everything I wanted and If I completely fail , I Know I tried and lived while doing it.  I released that I am the only enemy of my own process and I am tried of that because I know that am worth my dreams and goals to reach the stars close enough to the moon.

Poppy Season has arrived

Poppy season beginnings

Poppies are starting to arrive through the earth's greenery surface. The time where fields, hills and mountain sides are filling up with orange and bright colors mixed with the greenery brush. Finding them can be a little difficult in cities but in the countryside things are different they standout like they should be; being they are the California's State flower. In about a week or two there will be to many poppies in the fields to the point where you can get lost in the sea of flowers. I highly recommend going to the countryside and enjoy the fresh air, the sight before you and course take a few pictures.
April 21 to April 22 there will a poppy festival , that you don't want to miss and roam around the many fields and hills you want and eat some yummy food from local vendors.

Happy Easter to You!

Happy Easter, the season of the growing sun to you!
Today we celebrate as the day of new birth. The day that Jesus was resurrected on the third day of his crucifixion. They saw a hare come out of the tomb afterwards, the hare is important because it is a symbol of purity and the new moon. This day is about renew growth and birth. The Easter flower is a lily, Bermuda white lily to exact; which represents purity and innocence as well. It’s officially the spring season and earth is growing new flowers, the air is different and the birds sing, people around the world are happy.

March book Review 2018: When we meet again

When we meet again

Before I started this novel, I didn’t know a thing about the author Kristin Harmel nor the story-line of this novel. I solely chose this novel based on the cover, I felt this strange attachment to it before the first page. I am not one to pick a book based on the cover, I am picky about my book but this novel was worth every penny. From beginning to the end, the novel had a great flow to it. I enjoyed how the author went back into time in a smooth way; it wasn’t chopped, I felt that she couldn’t miss anything that would leave the reader lost or to have questions about possible missing information. Every character was important to the story and their story individually was key as well. I appreciated that world war two also played a role throughout the novel for the past to the future. The moment in history she chose to pause on and reflect upon was about the civil rights which is beautiful moment to add for the main characters story individually that comes into play towards the end. When you think, you have figured out how the story and where it will go next, it ends up with a different twist that you didn't expect to happen.  The theme was about Family and choices you make in life from the past plays roles in your Future later.
I took away multiple things from this novel that I never thought, I would be left thinking about as I closed the book. Thoughts of family; family I wished I had better connection with. I thought about my grandparent’s, if they never existed then never of us would have existed either. Also, the power of forgiveness is stronger then we really know in life and in death. I think the life we are living there is a purpose for us individually either we are aware of it or not there is reason.
And I think about love its self and we do have that one person, we are meant to be with or know them. We can have that one and only person and not another could fill that spot when you lose them to. And if you lose them in your life, somehow life pulls the two together and at the times you never expected to see them. Be prepared to have your heart pulled and the tissues handy while reading. You will be left in tears even after you finish the novel and days after thinking about the characters story. And left thinking about those in your life and about others that aren't in your life to.

Please let me know what you think in the comment section below, can't wait to hear from you!

P.s In my current reality, after reading this book opened a window in my life that I closed off relating to my family. I think life was pushing this book towards me to give me a little warning to my own life and whats in store.

Lion ,Tigers and what more do you need

The Cat House- Non-Profit Organization EFBC’s Feline Conservation Center
Link Below to their website, Go visit!

I have always driven by this zoo over the years through my travels to the Big city. I all I ever heard about the zoo were amazing good things. Finally, in February of this year I went and spent a few too many beautiful hours just learning while staring at such beauty. I learned so many things while I was there that made learning as adult wonderful and yet at the sometime feel like a child all over again. The Exotic Feline Breeding Compound was founded in July 1977 by Joseph and Jeanne Maynard. At the center they have over seventy felines throughout the compound and twenty-two different species. There are Leopards, Tiger, Jaguars and so much more. I enjoyed each story about each feline, trust me you want to know each story. My favorite three felines and their stories were Caesar, Gregori and Cisco. When you go there ask about their story, you will not be disappointed. When you leave there, you are left there wanting to own a zoo or be a volunteer there. Or if you are like me, I was left there wanting a feline of my own and volunteer there to! Please go visit the center and tell me your thoughts. I have more lovely images of these beautiful creatures in gallery page on here, which I will link below.

Moon phases in January 2018

The ending of January 2018, I woke up early  the morning of January 31 to capture the beauty of the moon phase throughout the morning until Seven am with my cup of tea. One of the best moments of 2018 so far and the best way to start a morning, early enough before the six o'clock morning news.
Moon shots including Blue moon,  Lunar Eclipse and a blood moon over in a short period of time.

A Bright Little World

A Bright Little World
When I look at this picture I think about the beauty of world has to offer and the things that we don't see can be magical . We all travel in different lengths at different times in our hearts , mind and physically moving. I also think that we all have mountains to climb and move ,big and small we have to climb them at some point.
We are all a bright light in the world .

January Book Review: Starry Night

Starry Night

An author like Debbie will leave you inspired and wanting more. Completing the novel, left me wanting more of the story and to last longer. It was simply magical and yet widely entertaining.
I enjoyed the two main characters and how two different personalities played off each other from the moment they met in the novel. Chapter two set the scene between the two special characters bickering all, it’s a perfect love story that shouldn’t have an ending. Fin and Carrie make their story seem like love at first sight does happen to people. Fin is an old soul and Carrie is a writer wanting more than the society page. Trust me, its worth a read and more.

And Debbie, I want more of fin and Carrie under the Alaskan skies!

First Post of 2018

Look At Me  -New Years Eve 2017
This Photo won award for photo of the day!
I am shocked this shot won, its one of my favorite shots from 2017!
I was a little close when I took this shot and he knew it, but he seem to be okay with it. And its a plus he didn't attack me being in his place.
